(Office Product) At ten dollars this Blind Hem Sewing Foot was the best price . I could find. Hancock Fabrics sold the same foot for twenty-five dollars and Hobby Lobby, Wal-mart and Target did not sell it at all.

Heavy Duty Serger Overlock Carrying Case I bought this case for my Brother 1034D serger, and I like it. It is taller than what my serger needs, so if I was trying to slide it under a low piece of furniture or something that might annoy me, but I’m not. It had enough room for my serger, the foot, and a little bit of extra stuff to settle snuggly in the bottom of it. It’s nice that the bottom is a little raised so that you can arrange your stuff inside of it easier. It would be nice if it had straps to strap in the serger so that it’d be stable to carry around in the case. However, you could easily gorilla glue some in yourself if you wanted to. Lay-In Binding

Attachment fit fine on my Singer machine. I was surprised that the binding attachment was plastic, I was a little afraid I would break it with too much stress. Foot was metal. Works GREAT attaching binding tape to one or two layers of fabric but a struggle to fit more (i.e. lining or facings plus garment). I was working with a heavy (thick) lining plus 2 other layers of lighter fabric, I struggled to get the fabric into the attachment to start sewing and keep it in place. Sewing binding on a table runner worked quick and easy.

    Brother 1034D 3/4 Lay-In Thread Serger

    babylock serger
Brother 1034D 3/4 Lay-In Thread Serger (Kitchen) I got this item because I got tired of having the seam allowances of my garments look homemade. Honestly, it sat on my sewing table for a good 8 months because I was afraid of threading the machine! Now, I could kick myself because it is very easy to thread if you view the CDs that come with the machine and read the manual. You can also look at the vids on YouTube about how to thread. Probably for those new to serging, the lower looper threading might seem to be the hardest. Just remember to follow the blue lines on the machine carefully and bring the thread under the upper looper.I can’t say enough about this machine!! I’m still learning things and it has added a new level of creativity to my sewing. This machine does not have a cover or chain stitch so if you’re looking to do a lot of sewing with knits, this machine may not be as useful to you. But, if you need a basic serger, this is a great machine on which to start!

    Brother 2340CV Serger Cover Stitch

    babylock serger
Brother 2340CV Serger Cover Stitch (Misc.) I love this machine!.I’ve had it for a few months now and find myself pleasantly surprised at the ease of use. You get your choice of 2 two-needle cover hems, narrow and wide or one triple cover hem. It also does a chain stitch. I did find that the triple cover hem puts a LOT of thread in your project…probably better on more substantial knits or wovens. If you already have a regular serger, then this one will be a snap to get the hang of. As far as the thread release issues, I use a wooden toothpick to release one thread at a time and have no problem at all. It’s worth it to have cover hems come out as perfectly as they do on this machine. I sew mostly on knits, thick, thin, and in-between, with all kinds of stretch and recovery. I do a test sample before each garment type. This machine is very simple. No bells and whistles. Just good cover hems with no skipped stitches or any other problems. If you are experiencing thread breakage, (especially in the left needle) check these 3 things. Is your thread seated properly in the tension discs? Check to make sure. Is the thread spool on the correct spool holder? Are the threads following the correct thread paths? All of these things can cause problems. (The thread paths are shown color-coded right there on the machine.)I am just so pleased with the quality and reliability of this machine. It sews perfectly no matter what I put under the presser foot. I even used it very late at night when no sane person would mess with their serger- didn’t break the machine or ruin the project. It doesn’t miss a stitch even over big bulky seam intersections.Doing cover hems on this machine is completely painless and all the ‘excitement’ is gone too!(Will it go the whole length with out thread breakage???) I am sorry to hear that some people have had trouble with this machine, because I would give it 5 stars. You can see more positive reviews over at patternreview.com.I wasn’t too thrilled with how it was packed. Someone at Amazon just took the factory box and dropped it into a big box and the factory box was banging around loose in there. It didn’t seem to affect the machine, though. Snap-On Serger

Brother 1034D 3/4 Lay-In Thread Serger (Kitchen) i’ll keep this short since there are a ton of really looong reviews about how great this is and all its features (i read a lot of them myself before purchasing this one) and they’re all true. Im just now starting out with my first serger and i can honestly say i absolutely LOVE it. and wish i would have done this sooner. its true at first they can seem a little daunting, but when you use one for the first time youll wonder how you ever got along with out one and see your creations go from amateur to professional looking just like that. i love love love my new serger. no regrets :D Great 2340CV

    Brother 2340CV Serger Cover Stitch

    babylock serger
Brother 2340CV Serger Cover Stitch (Misc.) When it works, it works fine but the biggest problem with this coverstitch is not having automatic tension release. The little buttons that you have to push to the side to release the tension are very fragile. I have had two of them break off and actually fall down inside the machine! This such a poor design! Do not waste your money on this coverstitch! Spend a little more money and get one with automatic tension release like a Babylock. Home, Carrying

Distinctive 1-4 (Quarter Inch) Quilting Sewing Machine Presser Foot with Edge Guide – Fits All Low Shank Snap-On Singer*, Brother , Baby lock, Husqvarna Viking (Husky Series), Euro-Pro, White, Bernina (Bernette Series), New Home, Elna and More! (Office Product) Amazingly, my sewing machine did not come with a 1/4′ presser foot. I really struggled following the plate guide measurements to sew a perfect 1/4′ seam. As a beginning quilter, this foot was essential and I’m so glad I ordered it. The extension guide makes it easy to feed my fabric in and maintain an exact 1/4′ seam allowance. Finally, my seams are consistent and the points in my quilt blocks are matching up perfectly. Good money
